Where did you install your vacuum canister?

I had to buy a Comp Cams vacuum canister for my 72, where did you guys mount yours under the hood? they are fairly large... pictures much appreciated, thanks!

I believe the original ones were mounted between the radiator support and the passenger side fender. Kinda down in the cup area. Not sure if that helps. Good luck.

Hmm passenger side fender? seems like a long way to run vacuum hoses to the brake booster, maybe i can mount it where the horn is at on the driver side radiator support.

Yeah. I just know that I pulled one from a 72 GMC front clip the other day. The bracket that holds the canister was bolted in with the radiator support to fender triangular bracket. Just my .02

I mounted mine on the core support(driver's side) down close to the voltage regulator. I ran the hoses up between the fender and inner fenderwell.

Yeah thats what i think i might do, right above the regulator is some old horn, think i will rip that off and put it there.
