LMAO, hey now mine will eventuall be done on both sides, i hope this next winter to do that, so lets agree to disagree that i only need a half of a payoff instead, say a 68 camaro would go nicely for that idea. And for the next idea i need................. LOL just kiddin, i think no matter what any of us do it just helps the next guy to go that one step farther and really stretch out our skills and enjoy the satisfaction of sitting back and looking at what we ( as a group) have acheived on a whole. One by one our collective thoughts run togehter and we all become artists in one way or another. So a big CONGRATS to us all,
Wow that was kinda philosiphical of me, do not know where that came from, oh right about that payoff you two ......................

Re: 1970 VA Longbed Project

I actually have an idea to do what I think is an original design but I really don't think I have the metal skills to pull it off. I may try make a cad model of it and see if it will work. Anyone know if there is a blueprint somewhere of the cab on on our trucks?

Merry Christmas to all you guys with the angled firewalls and eveyone else too! It's a blizzard here!

Sorry dont know where you can find a blueprint. One of the things that is so cool aboutthis website is exactly what this post is all about. Getting to see other guys doing projects like yourself no matter where they are in the country. As for not thinking you have the metal skills, there is only one way to get them. You have a truck if there is something you want to have done on your truck you can find someone on here who has done it before and ask questions learn some tricks before youget started but just get into it and have some fun.
