Overhead AC

I have a complete overhead AC unit removed from a 1970 Suburban; all of the pieces are there the vents look good the blower and switch worked when it was removed.
Interested I’ll send pictures.

On my way out of town this weekend if you are in Alabama Georgia north or South Carolina I’ll bring it to you for a nominal fee.

$150.00 obo or trade for 67-72 parts. Shipping will be difficult due to size.

All the headliner from the sun visors to the rear door. The center of the liner has a pod with vents and the blower is in the rear, near the door. I’m almost sure that this was a dealer installed option.

Tom

If you need I can send you pictures, I have none of it in the truck.

Kingparts you’re up first: What you got? I’m in Alabama until Sunday I don’t have the pictures on the computer I have with me. I’d sure like to see this thing go to someone that could use it.
I need doors for my ’72 Blazer.

Scott, thanks as soon as kingparts responds I'll contact you, any other Blazer body parts? I'll be home Sunday for sure and I'll send you the pictures of the AC unit.

Re: Overhead AC

I have a ’72 2wd K5 also a CST, no AC 4speed. The tub has some rust, I’ve got everything to put two or three trucks together but this blazer needs sheet metal several places in the tub are real bad. I’m not in it for much and the frame is nice so, if I can get decent original parts I can fix the tub. I’d like to come over and take a look at the ’71; if no one has stepped up on the AC I’ll bring it too.

Re: Overhead AC

no problem. the 71 i have is a CST 4X4 A/C 350/350/205. transmission is supose to be bad, but i am not sure. suppose to be 3.73's with an auburn traction unit in the back....so far the few things i have taken off are in pretty good shape....i have not removed the floor mat or the mat in the back...the biggest issue with this blazer is the previous owner did all kinds of 'personal' aluminum trim work, all with rivets...every panel, every edge is trimmed with aluminum and all riveted in, thousands of rivets. my buddy said it would take a spool of wire on the rivet holes themselves. still not sure what i will do with it....s

Re: Overhead AC

Sounds like scott123 can help you better than I can. Work out a deal with him. I have one already I just need a few pieces for mine to work right.

Re: Overhead AC

Sure will and if it gets to you I'll bring it at Christmas and you can pick it up at my mother's house in Lincoln or I'll bring it to you. I think I know I'm in Arab today picking up parts.
Got any parts?

Bought a 70 Blazer for parts and two doors in California so, the need for Blazer parts has been reduced. Who wants it! Make me and offer!
