How do you remove the wiper arms on these trucks? I need to get them off my '72 GMC and can't seem to figure it out. I tried searching, but came up with nothing.

Nice GMC BigChevy. You can buy a tool at NAPA that will remove then real easy. It can be done with a screwdriver and a block of wood, but can damage your cowl.

There is a little tab on the wiper are where it attaches that needs to be pulled down toward the cowl, then pull up on the base of the are. I used a flat head screwdriver and a pry bar to help it along. Hope this helps. If I'm wrong someone else will chime in.

if you use the screwdriver method, lay a blanket across your hood, the wipers like to fly across the hood when they removed
