Valve Mufflers/Silencers

What's everybody using for air valve dump silencers? I found these. Do they quiet the noise pretty good?

I even thought about running the dump lines, (I have 2, for an Accu-Air manifold), to the exhaust pipes right after the mufflers. If I could weld a 12" or so length of 3/8" tubing to the pipe and attach the air lines to the end to keep the heat from melting them, I think that would keep the noise down pretty good, especially when the truck is running.

I would give SuicideDoors a call and ask them. I believe they sell these.

Anyone else know?

Re: Valve Mufflers/Silencers

Just use a muffler/silencer. They work great and take all of 2 seconds to install. Personally I have never used the ones you pictured, but have seen them many times. So that leads me to believe that they work. We also sell these different styles.

tell us more?? how do you adjust the speed??..I personally want it to stay as fast as my 3/8" line will allow...and quite..I hate the noise it attacks attention..I would rather hear the heads drag than that pissing noise

I'm running these from Grainger. I like them because I can slow them waaaaay down.

To adjust them you just turn the screw on the end of them.

Re: Valve Mufflers/Silencers

I'm running the ones in the last pic that AVS JASON posted. They work fine for quieting the sound down ,but they're not adjustable for speed , mine is just as fast with or without them installed.
