disc breaks
I'm looking for how to put disc breaks on my 65 c-10 but I want to get the stuff from the junk yard . Anyone know the years that I can get it from a donor car

I would save up & buy a model specific kit brand new ( front or back) thats what I would do. when you buy junk yard stuff you sometimes get? junk!! save up& get the good stuff my .02 have fun& welcome ...Pat

There's nothing wrong with being resorceful and utilizing good used OEM parts. There's a wealth of info in the '60-'66 forum on doing just what the OP was asking. Here is probably the most condensed thread on the subject. http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...d.php?t=367260 You don't have to buy aftermarket suspension and brake upgrades. You can do it with OEM parts whether it is good used parts, or new replacement parts from your local auto parts supplier.
