Another "retread".
I joined a few years ago when I had an '89 C1500 Sportside and haven't been around for a couple years. The '89 is long gone but a couple days ago I picked up a heavily weathered but low mile '66 C10 long bed. It was originally a 283 4 speed but the 283 is gone, I'm replacing it with a 305 I'm putting together from "leftovers" and eBay deals. I'm keeping the 4 speed for now but hope to swap it out for a 5 speed later on.
Here's the best part, and it came with a note from the PO's family clipped to the Kansas title that those are actual miles.... |

I would drive that!! I have always loved that body style. thats 977.2 miles a year? man thats a great find. I would paint it the original color when you restore it! just "thinkin" have fun & enjoy!! ...Pat
