Rust in the roof corners....
I just noticied a bit of rust bubbling up under the paint on both front roof corners, guess water got in under the sealent in the drip rail? How hard is this area to replace? Or can it even be replaced? I'm not a welding/ body work wizard, so I'll have a shop do it, but I dont want to go into the project competely unaware and get bent over on the price.
Thanks!!

Re: Rust in the roof corners....
I don't know if your paint is in good condition but the best way to look is to sand some of the paint off in the affected area and see what is going on. It could be a bad patch job from the previous owner coming back to haunt you. Most shops would probably do this before quoting a price as it could be an big job or a small job. If you could show some pictures of the area's it would help.

Re: Rust in the roof corners....
I'll grab some pics and post them up. There hasn't been any body work done on the truck, my mom and dad bought it new in 71 as a camper special. It was built in Fremont, sold in Fremont, and has lived in the bay area it's whole life.
