Re: awesome truck! (not mine)

With a price like that he clearly doesn't want to sell it too badly. Very sweet ride.

cool truck!, wonder why there are no under hood pics?

I would loose the lift, put on some 33's , and drive the stuffing out of it

Re: awesome truck! (not mine)

What do you feel would be a fair price? I'm just curious..

Truck was restored frame off 2 years ago so everything is new or rebuilt.Truck has lots to mention but ill try to include everything. Motor is a supercharged 454, turbo 400 trans, 4:56 gears in the 14 bolt rear end and dana 60 front. Paint is all new and was painted with all P.P.G materials. Wheels are weld 20*12 cheyenne 8's 38" toyo tires, 12 inch super-lift kit with off road designs crossover steering. Have over twenty thousand in parts in this truck, just time for a new one

Re: awesome truck! (not mine)

I read the description, I know what he's got a ton more than that in it, but in today's economy I think everyone is shopping for "the deal" - I know I am. That said, I think 15k is more what a truck like that would fetch. Maybe I'm just off base.

Re: awesome truck! (not mine)

I think 20K is fair, but I don't know many people that would/could lay down that much paper on a toy that someone else built. Maybe I just don't run in the "right" circles

Re: awesome truck! (not mine)

It would be tough to build something like that for the money he is asking.

Over time 20k doesn't hurt as bad as one big lump. It is just hard to lay down that much cash up front plus most people I know would rather build it themselves, me included. You just never know the quality of work that was done and what was really put into it.

Those differential covers alone cost him about $500 for the pair. More than I paid for either one of my trucks.

It may be a reasonable asking price for what he has into it but it will probably not sell for anything near that. I know too many people that have taken a bath on selling toys recently just so they have some operating capital to work with. People just aren't parting with what money they do have right now unless it is one heck of a bargain.

Nice ride. I would pay close to that for it if I was in the market. I would much rather rock that instead of a cookie cutter new one.

I'd rather have this crew cab 4x4 myself.

I don't think so, and it's drivable, unlike the one jacked up to the sky.
