66 c 10 lwb to swb?

i have a 1966 chevy c-10 4x2 lwb and wont to make it a 4x2 swb what is the best way to do this i do have tools need to cut and weld etc

thank you ill check it out but i wont to keep the rear coils could i weld the whole mount

No reason you can't still use the coils (he just switched to bags for his build). The frame cuts & bed cuts needed for the lwb to swb conversion still apply.

ok now i have been pondering and i dont know if i wont to cut the frame or if i wont to keep it a 4x2 or make it 4x4 is there a good doner truck frame to make it a swb?

Any 63-66 swb frame would work. Later frames can work, but will add to the complexity of the swap (cab mounts are in a slightly different location, radiator core support mounts in a different location, & the front frame horns are different).
