I love all 67-72's and would have another Longhorn in a second.....as long as it was NOT a project!!! My interests of late have shifted though and I am heading in other directions with my automobile acquisitions. I have put all of my 67-72 collection up for sale....down to 2.....

Re: Longhorn Club ??

Sadly I sold mine. Three trucks is too many, at least for my wife. You know, that extra section in the the bed looks about right so that a guy could make a longbed extended cab, if he had the time and the talent.

Re: Longhorn Club ??

I just heard about Longhorn trucks today. On my way home from work everyday I see a 67-72 Chevrolet truck. Just the back of it. There is never anybody around, but today there was so I decided to stop. Whenever I see a truck or car that catches my eye I stop and ask about it. Some people are nice and some are not. This guy was. He bought it brand new in December 69.
It is a definite long term project. I will get pictures later. I want to buy it but he wants $2000 for it. The bed is destroyed, rocker panels are rotted through, has different fenders in bad shape, hole in cab for CB antenna, among other things.
