Here's mine. It's an '81 but the interiors didn't really change.

Re: anybody have 1983 scottsdale interior pics?

Here's mine:

highbeams, cruise control and wipers on the turn signal stalk, trim on dash pad says silverado. drivers door panel must be suburban because it has room for more window switches. door panels, suburban?

the truck is a 1983 scottsdale. wipers should be on the dash, are the high beams on the floor or on the stalk in this year/model?

Re: anybody have 1983 scottsdale interior pics?

my scottsdale had the same interior panels as a custom deluxe the one piece plastic cheapo panels with roll down windows no headliner trim around windows etc a sliding rear window the small kick panels and a red vynal seal with the pleats like scootin has i also had the black dash trim like him and a black floor rubber mat. those grey lower carpet panels were clearly added by a PO as the interior was grey and those painted pieces are red underneath
Some previous owner had done a cheapo attempt at trying to convert the interior blue by spray painting it but ill show you the photos

Ok here are some pics I just took. I think the column is too long for the standard cab truck...did the suburbans, blazers, crewcabs have a longer column?

Behind the seat is custom made. The more I learn about this truck the more I love it

It looks like somebody upgraded the interior of your truck to a newer Silverado trim level interior.

The 83 should have the wiper controls and high beam selector on the steering column. I believe that was the first year for it in the trucks.

Re: anybody have 1983 scottsdale interior pics?

those interior panels you have are all suburban parts... i got those same visors and door panels except for the cloth part in mine now...my cloth part is bigger.. i put new carpeted bottoms on my doors and i never did the power lock/window setup nor do i really want it
eventually when i fix up the cab i will put carpet in it
it appears that your headliner is aftermarket or just glued up velour on either the metal or the styrofoam headliner they sometimes install

Re: anybody have 1983 scottsdale interior pics?

I agree looks like the interior was swapped with a suburban interior. Looks really good too! As for the burbs having longer steering columns, no. The wiper switch for an 83 should still be on the dash like you stated. I think 84 was the first year that all trim levels, and models had them on the column. Good looking interior man.
