Cheapest place to buy Edelbrock 1406?
I am looking for a new carb. Who sells them the cheapest? Website or contact info would be great. Thanks.

They have them listed as the same price as Summit (actually a couple pennies more).
Outside of eBay, the cheapest I have found so far is Mothertruckers (for both manual and electric).

I bought mine at Autozone for about $246. I think Kragens had them for about $259. I had a local store so no shipping fees.

Ask about what you are getting. I bought one a couple of years ago. One place locally quoted me a better price than others but it was a rebuilt version instead of an all new casting etc. I paid the extra and bought the all new one. Don't know if it was any better but I felt better about it.

ya, I just bought a reman. 750cfm Manual Choke Edelbrock the other day from Summit for $183.99 for the 500ci Caddy and the engine has never run better. All i done was install it and set the idle speed, i didn't have to mess withthe idle mixture screws and it runs great. From a stop I can leave rubber all the way through third gear if I stay on the throttle. It runs a hell of a lot better than the Q-Jet that was on there before.
