Front crossmember
I know this question has been asked before but I am on my way to the salvage yard and need a little advice, I have a 69 half ton and want to replace the complete front crossmember what year would be the best for me to use to get the disc brakes and power steering. Thanks biddaboy

73 to about 80-ish.
Some time in the early 80s they went to metric, which is not all that bad in reality, but a PITA when it comes time to run the power steering hoses. |

biddaboy, Not a lot of help here I know but to bad we are so far apart. I could set you up with a complete crossmember from a 71 C10 LWB I am slowly parting out. Hope you find what you need.

If I am not mistaken, the rotors and calipers are way cheaper for the 73 and up.
