Hey all call me dumb or whatever but whats the easiest way to take a fuse out of our trucks. I just tried to pull one out and I accidentally broke it and glass flew everywhere. Some even got in my eye and scared the hades out of me. So whats the easiest way to pull a fuse out of one of our trucks?

I unhook my battery and use a small screwdriver on the end. I break a few but not many. Every puller I tried either was too wimpy or broke the fuse.

Interesting...I have one of the little plastic deals that came in a fuse kit I bought years ago...it has the tweezers on one end for the plastic fuses, and the hook on the other end fo ours.
To keep from breaking the glass, I put the hook around the fuse, and then slide up to one end before pulling. They seem to be stronger on the ends.

You can get the plastic fuse puller from most stores.

Some are setup to use on either the glass tubes or the newer blade type. The testers are made for both types too.
