Have a look at this one from No Limit engineering. It looks a lot stronger than the ones you mentioned and I don't believe it hangs below the rail as much. I will use this setup on my next project.

Has anybody used one of the no limit four links? I interested in getting one, however it looks wider than the tci. I want to run atleast a 10 inch wheel and yes Im mini tubbing the bed. Just trying to see if there will be enough room to clear them. Any info would be great. Thanks

Re: anyone use a heidts or tci bolt on 4 link for 55-59 chevy truck

ill let you guys know. tci and heidts did not give me an answer to how low it hung below the frame and the gall at no limit said it only hung down 1" but that a lie it hangs down 5.5"
i bought the no limit one it looks ok but i think that the whole its stronger gig is bs. its well bildt dont get me wrong but to say its strong and better than the heidts or tci i would think its nicer. plus not to mention that none of the companies had any of these kits in stock. i only got about 3/4 of the kit from no limit i have to wait for the rest of the parts to come in so i cant even start the project. but at least they had more parts than heidts or tci both of them told me that they dont build the kits till there ordered. brian your kit looks good. im building the truck for a customer and he wanted a direct bold on 4 link otherwise i would have just used a universal 4 link kit. turns out the no limit kit is not a direct bolt on. sucks but had to explain it to the customer that its still going to work fine. the rear end im running is a fab 9 rear end that i sell in my store, but the customer said he wants a ford 9" or 10 or 12 bolt rear end thats 60" wide so hopfully it will work.
thanks for the input guys

Mine was originally for a 88-98 full size gm p-up.
I had to shorten up the arms1". My pivot point is about 5" ahead of the mounting point for the 4 links built for these trucks. I think with the longer arms the ride is a bit better.

I have the TCI model and it does hang down past the frame rails by a few inches. I don't remeber by home much but I'll try to check this week. I would say at least 3" maybe more but that's a guess. I will say that it doesn't hang down below the steps on the bed if that helps.

55BelairTim, Just a quick question, how did your customer come up with the 60" width for the rear?
