Re: Shaker hood
No.Heck, you can plop a huffer on top to fill the huge gap between the motor and hood, though. It still won`t be trough the hood unless you want it to be.

Re: Shaker hood
you could always use a 6.6 Trans Am (Smokey & the Bandit) car from the mid to late 70's with a form of shaker. I haven't personally ever seen a shaker on a truck, but like Tim said above, there is a lot of room on most trucks that it would look funny when you lifted the hood. On a bag truck though, I would try possibly a 6.6 Trans Am scoop as they would be a whole heck of a lot cheaper than the Cuda's or Cobra Jet 'Stang scoops. Personally, I would like to see someone do a 442 style hood or a 67 stingray scoop or something to that nature. I have done a '70-'72 Chevelle scoop on my 96's hood. I have also seen someone use a 69' Chevelle SS hood on a 67-72 truck. Trevor

Re: Shaker hood
Oh ok,you left all that out.A shaker hood mounts to the engine.Might as well make it functional.I like the T/A scoop idea. They face rearward so sucking water isn`t a big issue.

Re: Shaker hood
Dropmember, Z'd front clip, or a pancaked crossmember like mine. It would totally be for looks, I've just never seen them on our style truck. I've seen them on newer dodges like the Dakotas. And I think Christopher Titus had one built on his f150.

Re: Shaker hood
Come to think about it...I can't recall seeing one of our trucks with a "Shaker Hood".
