E-brake auto tranny help
Looking for a little info I have 62 chevy swb with a 305 and granny 4 speed
and Im going to put a turbo350 or 400 in it but ive been reading that the e-brake cables and hardware is in the way does anybody know of a good fix or how to modify what I have to keep the e-brake any info you can throw my way would be vary helpfull.. THANKS |

There was a pic on one of the threads were the transmission mounts were put on either side of the ebrake assembly and a flat piece of steel was mounted to the transmission. The steel went over the ebrake and spanned the distance to the mounts. I'm almost to this point and that is what I plan on doing. The other option is to keep your eyes peeled for a factory auto cross member.
