[Sound Clip] My Truck at idle :D

Here's what the new setup sounds like.
This is:
Hedman 1 5/8 Long Tubes -> 2¼" Y-pipe -> Stock Cat -> Flowmaster 2½" In/Out 2 Chamber 40 series Muffler, dumped just before rear axle.
This clip was taken with the camera 5' away from the muffler, at the same heighth from the ground. Enjoy!
BTW: This is in PARK @ 850rpm.

Yeah...I was gonna cam it, but for $1200 with a 4 year/45k mile warranty..I just couldn't pass it up! If I bring the idle down to 600rpm, it's got a more noticeable lope.

Daniel,
I got it from Rettig Bros., Here in Modesto. I paid I think $1500 up front (cuz I wanted them to put the oil pan and timing chain cover on for me), and then I got back $200, because my crank was TOAST and one of my heads was cracked. But I think if you just went in and had NO core (cuz you have a 305, and you're going to a 355cid), and you can put the timing chain cover and oil pan on yourself, it'd be like $1200 out the door. It's guranteed for 4 year/45k mile. The first year is 100% parts AND labor (meaning I'd just bring the entire vehicle to them and then they'd fix it)
But to get this warranty, you must have:
Brand New Water Pump, Radiator, Belts, Hoses, etc. So...I say it was a good deal. It's got a SMALL cam in it. They said with my setup, I should make 225rwhp, so...in a 3800# truck, that should work out nicely.

Here's mine. Make sure to turn down because it gets revved up Exhaust MP3 I did this awhile back and had my truck backed up to the window where the mic was. This is dual 40 series chamber Flowmasters with X pipe dumped under the bed before the axle and idling at 600RPM then up the power band as you will hear.

Since hearing LOHRTBT's truck with Aerochambers dumped I want those now. For the right price I'd sell these Flowmasters and get the Aero's

Whats the deal with these aero chambers? Everyone is saying how much better they are than flows. I dont think they sound any different than 40 series flows. I guess I just need to hear them in real life. Hopefully I will on may 10th.

Thanks for the information. I may be purchasing a crate motor soon, so keep that place in mind for me.
