Not my style but man, how can you not like that thing? There's a freaking perfect reflection of the engine in the firewall! jeesh! 502 ENGINE! wow, that thing must get up and go...

blazer didn't start till 69 and 2wd didn't come out till 70. but you can adapt a 67 front clip to one.

I was saying that to myself as I looked at the pics...but it says on there that it is a custom body.

That is nice. Not 100% my style (I'd never chop, but then again, I can hardly fit in a stock top, so that's a large part of it!) but at least 95% my style.

Out of curiosity, how can he call this a blazer?

1) Blazer didn't start until '69 (as Alexis mentioned).

2) It's got an enclosed cab.

3) It's got a wood bed floor.

Wouldn't it be more accurate to describe it as a 67 SWB Fleetside?

The only thing that I could think of to figure out how this started would be the VIN. The wheelbase might help you, but he's modified the suspension, so who knows <g>.

Don't get me wrong, this is a beautiful example of the customizers art. I'm just wondering if he wasn't cheating a bit in his description.

I was wondering the same thing as bpmcgee. WHAT MAKES THAT A BLAZER? Isn't that a pickup that has the bed welded to the cab? Blazers have tops that come off, no solid panel between the front and the bed and, most of all, they didn't start making them until 1969!

Don't get me wrong, that is a very nice truck with excellent craftsmanship and I'd be proud to own it, but it's not a Blazer.

It started as a blazer, they chucked the roof and built a back on the cab then made a wood bed for it, so it is still technically a blazer

I have the axe that George Washington used to chop down the cherry tree. It's had 5 new blades and 12 new handles, but it's exactly the same axe!!

My point is, how can they call it a 67 blazer? If anything it's a 72 jimmy (what it's VIN claims). If they try to say it's a 67 because it has a 67 front clip, then I say great, it's a 67 SWB fleetside, because it has a cab and a wooden bed!

In any case, the point is philosophical. It's a sweet ride, and I'd love to see it in person to admire the beautiful craftsmanship that went into creating this -- this -- vehicle!

too dang bad its ugly..........all that work and beautiful paint and more money spent on it than I will make in my lifetime, yet ....its frickin ugly!!!!!!!!!! it doesnt even look like a chevy anymore
