Question 66 factory tire sizes?

Hello-

I have a 1966 C-10 that I am trying to restore to factory. All the books I can find say the original tire size is a 7.75-15/4PR. The only sence I can make from that is 15 inch rim which is what I do have. What does that translate to in today's tire sizes?

Currently the truck has mismatched P235 75R/15. Tax return money has finally arrived and I am going to buy new tires. I want to get as close to factory as I can in size.

Thanks!

Lon
