You don't have to have the high hump unless you go to a truck type four speed (sm465) if you go with a 3 speed or any of the car four speeds, t10, saginaw or muncie you can use the low hump with no problem. 67-68 had hand type emergency brakes, 69-72 were foot operated types. As far as the a/c this has become a fairly common addition. There is a difference in the heater cut out on the firewall that you will have to change as well as cutting the holes for all of the a/c vents. A easier method if you can find one is a dealer installed a/c unit or vintage or old air products type a/c system this allows you to put vents where you want them i.e. stock or otherwise.
