where did you get info.
Curious where you got complete detail listing? I am in market for good 235/75/16 or 265/85/16 load range E's for burban and need to do some shopping. Any recommendations?

It is pretty much crazy to look at 16.5s IMO.
My bias ply 16.5s will be burn out tires, and the 2 good steel belt 16.5s are real good spares. |

Those are what I have on my truck right now, and yes, they are very good tires, but they are showing signs of age from sitting outside for years.

i just replaced 2 of my 16.5's this past week. went to a 18 wheeler tire shop. the guy was just wanting to get rid of them, so for $65 a piece, i took 2 8.75 x 16.5's home. not bad in my opinion. everywhere else i went, they either couldn't find any, or it was going to be a week or so before they could get any. not only that, they were about twice as much.

And illegal in some states. You put 15 inch tires on a truck that is ment to carry more weight than the tire was designed for and it becomes a liaility issue for the company that built the rim.

But, dont some ***d and Dodge 1tons come with 15's? Also... who says you have to change the lugs? 15's come in all different lug patterns.... (dont know if they come in 8 lug @ 15" though...)
