1 more question for you guys.....
I know that a full 3" exhaust is too much for a 305 but are 3" mufflers with 2.5" pipe up to it too much? A buddy of mine gave me some free flowmasters and I would like to use them if possible to keep the $$$ down.

Flowmasters get wider as it gets to the muffler anyways so go ahead and put some reducers on and away you go

That's what I figured, I am not going to be racing it or anything but I want it to run good. i have heard that too big of an exhaust will hurt performance, but I figured with smaller pipe up to the muffler it might be ok.
