What do you think its worth?

My insurance company is giving me crap on how much my truck is worth. I have $15,000 in recipts but I think in a good economy the truck is worth $20,000. What do you guys think its worth??

What it's worth to you?...........or what it's worth to them? Two completely different things. I'd say about 8,500.00 to 10,500.00 on a good day. But that's just me.

Got any info on it? One picture and no specs isn't going to get a lot of replies.

Right now I am guessing you have a 69 or 70 GMC 1/2 ton 4x4, maybe a 4" lift??? The wheels look like inexpensive chrome wheels. Motor could be anything. Tranny? Interior? The picture makes it look like the body has a ding or wave or two, but could be the terrain reflecting on the shiny paint.

Only problem is our and your opinion on value don't matter to an insurance company, you'll need to get it appraised.

Good point. If possible get ads showing similiar trucks such as yours that are up for sell. But as powell72 said...if you get it appraised that should be all you need. Maybe your insurance company has an appraiser they use. Just a thought.
