Have you guys seen this new brake kit from CPP? What a dream come true?

Hey guys, this kit we have been offering is a dream come true and as most of you guys recognize it i would like to take a second and talk about the features and benefits of our new 2 " dropped modular spindle and spindle kits. First off it narrows the trac width 3/4 of in inch per side from the old style disc kits which is a ton and it narrows the trac width a 1/4 per side from factory drum! If you are using big wheels or lowering your truck a substantial amount this kit will make the world of difference! You can use factory 12" brake rotors or you can use the 13" monster disc kit that we now offer as pictured. Guys if you need a kit let me know i would love to get some members vehicles and will cut you a deal for a limited time on kit to kind of spread the news! THERE IS NO SECOND BEST! THIS SPINDLE IS THE FUTURE OF DISC BRAKES! Let me know if i can help, and i will post stuff on occasion like this that i think members need to be aware of. When i saw this kit for the first time my face was like

How many pistons in the caliper, and can it be used with a Bell Tech 3" spindle?

i dont want to speak for jeff, but i can answer that...they are 2 piston calipers 52mm (i believe), and no, they are designed specifically for their modular spindle....again this is just from what i understand. also their advertised price is very attractive, compaired to other big brake kits...it would behoove you to get everything, instead of 'makeing' it fit your spindles IMO

Andrew totally agree there is other companies out ther that make all kinds of stuff but NOBODY makes a kit quite like this one, its in a class of its own, not saying this cause i work there but the kit speaks for itself.

It is all based on the rear of the truck because of the E-brake cables because 63-66 are one part # and 67-72 is another but the 6772 is 6772rwbk-p12 . What year do you have?

Re: Have you guys seen this new brake kit from CPP? What a dream come true?

Im curious, what kind of rotors do these use? Are they a common part house, off the shelf, brake rotor, or are they specific to you guys? Do you guys offer the replacement rotors once the originals wear out? Do the brake pads fall under the same situation?

Re: Have you guys seen this new brake kit from CPP? What a dream come true?

Jeff,
Is this spindle made by CPP or western chassis tech? I purchased the 6370SWBK-6, and was surprised to find a western chassis tech spindle in the kit.

Also, I think it is great that you are cleaning up CPP name. I was one of the customers that was shafted(lied to) in PERSON by one of your salesmen. I believe you are the man who gave me the option of exchanging the brake kit back when I had a problem.
FYI: The brakes work well for a single piston caliper and the hydroboost system I have on my truck.

You may want to add a note on the website about brake kit 6370SWBK-6 does not work with stock 6 lug wheels.

Great question, to deeper prove that nothing compares to this spindle both Wilwood and Baer brakes ONLY use this spindle for there 13" and 14" inch kits that are currently on the market today. As for the parts the list the rotors are sold through us directly and the calipers and pads can be obtained at your local parts store.

Correct the Western Chassis spindle is one of our "old style' 2.5" drop spindles that they have made for us for years. They DO NOT make the new Modular spindle. As for coming on here, i will do whatever i can to help you guys out. I was never alerted to any issues till quite recently and we will make sure these things dont happen. My appologies.

So I guess this may be a little OT, but what big brakes will I be able to run with my 3" drop spindles and not break the brake bank? ;p

I have a 64 C-10. Can I run 15x8 steel rally wheels with the modular spindles and 12" stock rotors? Would there be issues with lower control arm interfeering with the wheel?

Slow i have never heard of any issues with a 15x8 steel rally. You have quite a bit of real estate on that lower arm so i am going to say no way on any interference. Thanks Jeff.
