Re: i need some assistance...

A problem is the distance from me to u. I appreciate the offer. I have a set of 91 chevy rims to use. I've called almost every tire shop around here and they all say it's a liability. I don't see how it's just gonna be a rolling chassis til I can afford rims and tires.

I know in my area there are used tire shops, that can sell them cheap. Might check in your area.

Re: i need some assistance...

Hey, I work at a tire center. It would only be a liability for the company if they were the ones that bolted the tires on. Just go in and ask them to mount the tires for you and if they ask what they are going on, just tell them a chevy half ton pickup.

Re: i need some assistance...

i found a set on cL for 50 bucks in houston and after i called the guy yesterday night and we agreed that i would come pick them up after 5 today, he bailed and said he sold them....i went to a tire shop that i forgot about and got 4 tires, had them dismounted from the rims and onto my other rims....didnt cost a dime..my suspension is from a 71 so its 5 lug.
