Tach Dash 292 PS set up

I have some parts to get rid of now that old Orange needs a new tranny.

First up is a ps pump and brackets as well as the two groove crank pully from my 71 GMC. This is a set up off of a 292 with non-integrated heads. Photobucket is fighting me on the upload and I will post pics later tonight. Asking $225 shipped.

Next is a tach dash that I bought last year everything on it works according to the board member I bought it from I have not installed it yet as my truck is in 10,000 pieces. The wood grain on the front might be able to be salvaged as there are no cracks in it and looks to be in good condition. There is a small delamination in the oem circit board but I have a new replacement board for it. I also have a new tach harness for it as well. Looking for $250 shipped. Nate 72BLKBUTY has first shot at this.

Please respond in thread first PM's without info in post will be deleted

Unhappy Re: Tach Dash 292 PS set up

Thanks for the pic's but I will have to pass. The setup is a modified version of a 250 pump setup. I would of paid $225.00 for an original 292 setup.

Thank

Re: Tach Dash 292 PS set up

What kind of shape is the woodgrain on the bezel ? Have you tested the tach? I would be interested after these questions are answered. Thanks Harold

Re: Tach Dash 292 PS set up

Alright guys I am going to get to the bottom of these brackets because my truck came from the factory with a 292 as ps both are on my spid so I will get a better answer on these.

On the Tach I bought this off another member a year ago and he had tested everything on it before I bought it and it all worked this has sat in a box for the last year.

The woodgrain looks good I will take the old armorall to it and double check it again but it looks presentable driver for sure.

Sorry the 292 is no longer in my garage but if you are interesed in parts off of it I can give you the number to the Chevy truck shop where it is at.

Re: Tach Dash 292 PS set up

Thanks Jeff, and Doug, for keeping me in mind with the tach dash. Jeff as I mentioned in our pm's, we are looking at another purchase at the moment, and will have to pass on the dash. (which I regret) Good price for someone on this deal... bttt!

Thanks again!
Nate

Is the tach a 6 or 8 cylinder?
If 6 cylinder put me in line.

Re: Tach Dash 292 PS set up

There seems to be a couple slight differences in the 292 PS.
Here are two: one w/cast pulley (67-8?) and one w/stamped pulley.
Both have the extra clearance for the by-pass hose.

Re: Tach Dash 292 PS set up

I'm interested in the PS bracket only. I'm not sure if it will fit my '72 with a 292. I'll take your word on it. Please let me know if it's still available, if you're willing to part with just the bracket, and how much. Thanks!
