help me out......not sure which one's??
Help me out here guys. I am not sure which ones I should go with on the gauges, should I go all electric on the gauges or should I get everything electric except for the oil pressure? I am getting ready to order my gauges so help me out here, I am going with auto meter sport comp gauges 2 1/16" oil, temp trans temp, and volt gauge, I was thinking about going with all mech. Then got to looking at the electric. Which one is better?, and tell me why you think that??

My recommendation would be to go all electric. It'll be the more expensive route, but safer and cleaner. The last thing you wanna experience is an oil line to your pressure gauge bursting inside the cab. Not a fun experience, very messy. I also like opening the hood and seeing a nice clean sight, never have been fond of lines running every which way. I keep my wires all bundled up in convulated tubing.

its a matter of preferance for sure, but I like the mechanical guages for oil pressure, & temp. i replace the plastic line with copper on the oil guages, & havent had any problems with the lines(plastic lines are trashcan material!) crazyL
