Re: John's Project
Was this thread about a truck? I forgot.
I just can't get into the new Camaro. It's still kinda funky looking to me. I guess I will just stick to my old man car. It can't be fast since it's a Cadillac, right?

Re: John's Project
Yeah Dennis they're out. There are about 5 of them here in town. Quickly finding out who has money around here.
![]() OK guys you are going to be proud of me. I HAVE PICTURES!!!!! My uncle called this morning, and needed my truck out of his shop. He is going to be wiring up a 53 Chevy truck for a guy, and needed mine out of the way. Which was fine because all the stuff I have left to do I can do at my house no problem. We mainly took it out to his because of more space, and he has a lot more knowledge than I do. ![]() ![]() Here are a few of the engine sitting in it's new home. |

Re: John's Project
Here are a couple of others that I snapped.
This one is of the core support. I hope it shows up well. I was trying to show you guys the texture of the paint that I used. This is the current condition of the interior. It started snowballing. I took the gauges out so that we could clean up some of the wiring, and one thing led to another, and the whole dash ended up coming apart. ![]() This is the new wiper switch that I am going to place under the headlight switch. I am planning on just putting billet knobs on the headlight, and the wiper switch. I decided to change out the column to an earlier one to clean it up a bit. I think it will look so much better without the cruise/wiper/dimmer switch on the column. |

Re: John's Project
Here are a few of the parts that I have yet to get installed. I am going with a set of the billet wire looms. My uncle put a set on his 85, and they look really clean. Then I have the Edelbrock brackets for the fuel line, and cables. Also in this pic is the valve cover breather. I also have the PCV one to match.
This is how the bed of the truck looks now. ![]() |
