boosting a 00 6.0

I have a extra turbo, wastegate, and blowoff valve layin around that got me thinking. I have a 00 gmc 3/4 ton that is mostly stock. all it has is bigger injectors, cold air intake, and a chip. I wanta put a turbo on my truck, but i have a coupple questions first. First is how much boost can i run safely? 2nd is itll be a midmount turbo so wont i need a oil pump or will i be able to get away otherwise? And third is will i need to do anything to the computer to run a midmount? Thanks in advance

They can answer all your turbo questions.

The amount of boost depends on your tuner really.
But I would say about 10-12

You will need the computer tuned.
