Re: Brake fluid not comming back to MC

MAN YOUR GOOD lol how do you tell im going to the garage now to put it back on (how i had it before). thank you!

should the linkage be adj. all the way 1 direction or sorta in the middle? Reason I ask is because my linkage is pretty much touching the firewall with brake off. Is this correct/normal thanks!

The rod comming out of booster (front side of truck) DOESNT sit flush in the booster it protrudes a little. This correct? It may've been the linkage though. Can someone answer my question about the bracket does it matter which way it goes it is diff. and thats why I wonder.
The rod should stick out a little so the master should have a shallow recess in it. Does the master plunger set up tight to the snap ring? Does the master easily go flush against the booster? make sure you have some play between the pedal arm and the rubber stop under the dash. You should be able to pull the pedal up about 3/8"

That could be a major factor in the problem. That is a seal and also helps line up the rod. Looks like your in for a booster. unless you an get just that seal. Is that 1.5" sticking out past the seal or pulled out and its the over all length?

Whats the back of the master look like?

Re: Brake fluid not comming back to MC

the seal (dunno if its attached to booster or MC) is jobed into the MC when I pulled booster mc apart.

The rod from pedel to booster linkage is 7" long

not gonna be long enough to have .5" between top of linkage and firewall.

EDIT It looked torn, leme double check...

Re: Brake fluid not comming back to MC

Thats the dust boot for a non power brake master. pull that off it doesn't belong in a power setup. snap a picture of the rear of the master. That rubber should have been removed when it was swapped to power. I think you found your problem. now we need to see the rod and the master recess behind that rubber. put the rod in the booster and snap a picture.
