Lookie What I Got!

An old hot rodder friend of mine that I used to work with picked these up years ago at a swap meet for like 50 bucks. That was before the inline stuff became gold. I was at his house shootin the **** with him and he said I found something for you while I was cleaning out the shed the other day. They are a little banged up from rattling around but never been on a motor. He just gave them to me on the conditions that if i didn't use don't sell them give them back. I've looked them over pretty good and cant find a name on them. Does anyone here know who makes them, I would like to know for when people ask me. They are split headers btw I just set them up like that for the pic.

Re: Lookie What I Got!

Have a look at the mounting flange. From what I noticed is that most manufacturers use the same primary tube diameter but the flange's are different i.e PaceSetter uses a 3/8 flange.

Edit - They don't look to be PaceSetter, Hedman or even Flowtech.

Re: Lookie What I Got!

Sorry for the late response. The flanges are 3/8". I was worried about clearance because I have a 4sp and it lookks like the clutch linkage or bracing is in the way. The motor is out of my truck right now so I cant tell for sure, have any of you guys used this type on a setup like mine, or can I switch to a hydraulic clutch or something.

Re: Lookie What I Got!

I almost bought a set like those last year(wish I had of the price was right)but could not find out if they would work with w 3oTT.I may be able to pick them up at a swap the end of the month if they will work(they come every year and 6 parts aren't in big demand though they seem to be rare{must not have the "MOJO" of tow hooks}).

Re: Lookie What I Got!

I'm a little worried now that I have been comparing them to others. The front headers on all the others seem to go back before they go down and mine angle from the front back maybe they won't clear the motor mount.
