original Blazer rollbar specs
Can someone with an original 69-72 Blazer rollbar please tell me the pipe diameter, and maybe the height, (from floor to top of bar)?
I can probably figure out the angles of the bends but the angle of the support legs and thier length would be a big help. Thanks Pete |

Re: original Blazer rollbar specs
Mine has a bar diameter of 1 5/8 inches. The height is 41 1/2 inches from the floor.
Here are a couple of pics of the Hickey Enterprises part number stenciled on the top side. Also after it was painted to give you an idea of how it is constructed. I've seen others where the down bars go straight back before heading down towards the floor. As you can see mine isn't like that. While I'm in here,,,here are a couple shots that show somewhat how it's mounted on the tire well. I wasn't originally trying to take a picture of this, but you can see it none the less. Hope that helps. |

Re: original Blazer rollbar specs
Mine looks just like that one.
Not sure if mine is a factory or not, the welds are sorta suspect but it looks exactly like that one. Hey Firebird....is that a 70 Chevelle and a pair of Cragar SS mags in the background?

Looks good firebird, I know you were asking about those seat covers awhile back. They look great.
Coyote, those aren't Cragers from the pic, and that is a 72' Chevelle or El camino. The 70's have 2 lights on each side of the grille. 71' has split turn signal lights. Trevor

Cragars?? Close, they are Torque Thrust II's that I run on that chevelle. I had them off to mount some new rubber and just haven't gotten around to putting them back on yet. |
