New guy Texas Panhandle
New guy here living in Pampa Texas, I work on a hunting ranch and make custom knives. I've noticed there's quiet a few Texas panhandle and Oklahoma guys around.
I just snagged an 1987 that was first sold in Amarillo Texas. Made it's way around Canadian Texas, Dalhart, and now back to Amarillo. I think I got a decent deal and not much needs to be done to it. Just a couple little things I'll work on. I just sold a 2007 Chevrolet vortecMaxx Extended cab and bought this as a daily driver. I don't care for the big speakers in the door, but it'll work out. I originally bought this truck, but the title didn't have the right lien release and I didn't want to mess with it. 72 gmc 4x4. Still waiting to get it out of the driveway. Anyway look forward to hanging around here and learning a thing or two |

Re: New guy Texas Panhandle
Thanks guys. Yeah El Paso is way out there hotrod. I grew up in Denver City which isn't as far west as you, but we did play El Paso in some basketball games.
Thanks Restrorob, I really like that 72 but just didn't want to deal with the title mess. I think he has it sorted out, but I needed a truck and quick. |

Welcome from central Oklahoma. There are a few guys a little south of you in Lubbock, and a couple in Amarillo.
That's a good looking truck you have there. Nice find. |

Thanks, Not many plans at the moment. Mainly just want to get it cleaned up and fluids changed out. Eventually I wanna add more power and some lights. All in time, just glad to be rid of a truck payment. |
