Re: Looks like I've added another to the stable

Nice!, Now just do something about the exhaust, the LT1 Camaro tips Do Not do that truck justice. A simple stock exit side swept exhaust with a nice tip would be much nicer.

BTW I thought all the Intimidator SS's were 2wd and came out a year or two after the original AWD SS's?

Edit: Yep, they weren't built till 2006, all were 2wd, and there were 1,333 made, and that is the incorrect "Intimidator" emblem.

Either way, sweet truck, post up some more pictures of it!

Yup, the exhaust is going to be history. And good eye on the Intimidator. Those stickers are going the way of the dodo as well. Along with the bug deflector, grill inserts and rain guards on the windows. I think these trucks look damn near perfect from the factory. Might drop it a bit, who knows. Might not do much of anything to it. It was owned by an older gentleman, and spent most of it's life in the garage.

'03 and only 17,000 miles. Man it's still new. Yeah, you'll drop it only a couple of inches but it will look right then.

Sweet truck. I agree about leaving it stock looking....these trucks [99-06] are better looking left alone to me. I'd leave the bug deflector though.

I wasn't really looking to buy, just had an eye out there if you know what I mean. Plus, the boss lady has been on me to find something a little more practical than my 72 for daily duties. When I found one with this amount of miles, I had to pull the trigger. The only problem is, I'm not going to want to put any miles on it myself.

Thanks! I see you have yourself an SS as well. I was kinda looking at the Trailblazer SS too, but I really have no need for an SUV.

but I would beef up those brakes. You need something to tame all those ponies. You still have a lot of rim in those 20s for some over sized rotors and 4 piston calipers.
Black Rims? I think powder coated Gun Metal Grey would look killer.
Looks like the old guy took good care of it. I'm jealous

I was actually leaning towards Gunmetal. I've seen them with the factory rims black, and while they look nice, I think I would grow tired of it. Big brakes would look cool, but these things aren't really the screamers that people think they are and I'm pretty sure these will suffice for daily duties.

Yes, found it on eBay, contacted the dealer and worked a deal out from there. She was originally from Ohio.
