Remember the Baja Blazer?

I've been occasionally watching the build he had on another web site, and came across his youtube videos. Here are a couple links:

Re: Remember the Baja Blazer?

He lives in Tacoma, about an hour south of me. He came up to measure my Hickey side tanks so he could make some reproductions. He told me about a couple other Hickey trucks and he had including a reproduction Pre-Runner Blazer he was building and a James Garner Baja Olds .

He was going to make reproductions of many of the Hickey parts, but I"m not sure if he was able to move forward. His board name is baja1000.

Not going to post a link to the thread. It's in the Garage on CK5 for those interested in searching. Kurt's right. He disappeared with an original Hickey diff cover from one guy and $$ for some pre-runner fenders from another.

Re: Remember the Baja Blazer?

Too bad he had to become a flake. I'm glad I just let him measure my tanks and not borrow anything.

Re: Remember the Baja Blazer?

there is a substantial reward offered for help in locating this individual. He owes a machine shop that I use about 15,000 dollars.
