Re: Factory Tissue box

I have only seen GM labeled tissue dispensers, like other parts in our interiors...radios,seatbelt buckles...GM didn`t make a GMC and a Chevy Truck version. The accessory catalogs don`t always show an accurate picture.GMC wouldn`t have a bowtie.

Sorry, nothing on the speakers. The unit mounted to left of the heater controls and under the dash. First pic is from the front and shows the brackets mounted. Both brackets in the bottom pic are of left side bracket.

Re: Factory Tissue box

I eventually sold 1 of my 8 tracks on the board here...took 3 years actually before it brought forward a buyer. I actually bought one 8 track on the board here too. I had the 8 track listed for sale before subscription were required. So the ad was an old one.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ighlight=track
The only knobs that were not correct was the outer ones the inner ones were correct. The outer ones were correct for cars. The knobs are the same on other tracks from some cars of that era so its not really a problem getting the knobs. That 8 tracks was a 1969 model.

I see a few pictures I've sent around over the years and posted in this thread, so here's one on speakers I figure are correct for 8 track.

The knobs for the 8 track that style look like this for trucks.

How about a view of something related to the intent of the thread too.

Thats the 2004 thread where I bought an 8 track here on the board...Ohhh how the US dollar has changed since then. That 8 track cost me a lot more back then when my Canadian dollar was worth plenty less cents to a US green back.

Re: Factory Tissue box

OK....from reading this thread....the Tissue Box with the GM emblem was for the trucks and the Bowtie was for the cars. Is this correct or is the answer....we really don't know?
