soon i hope to get started on mine, i have a 86 c30 and a 76 c10 short bed truck, just tryin to find those pics from ojoes build, the cool part is that the shorty was free so i should be able to get going on a moderate budget.. basically i just need to know where to cut my one ton and where to cut the shorty.. man i wish the pics were still in ojoes build thread... you all have awesome trucks and i look forward to joining you! thanks in advance!

BGRAFX- thank you, i found that one, i was looking for the one ton chassis and putting the half ton rear clip on it.. i really like how ojoe did his, just the pics are gone.. thank you for you help, i appreciate it

toomanytoyz did it the same way.

you can cut the one ton frame a bit long behind the cab, remove the rear cab mounts from the 1 ton frame, cut the 1/2 ton frame in front of the rear cab mounts, bolt up the 1/2 ton cab mounts to the cab then bolt and/or weld the frames together after you are sure you have them parallel, square, and level. pretty simple and the cab mounts help align the rear frame section
