Re: Free tow hooks

Thanks for the info Trevor! They were priced low enough that I was worried they might not be correct. I hope to see a truck with them on or some pic's for proper locating. I might trade the tow hooks for a swing away tire carrier if I find an original one, so it might not be an issue. Thanks again John

NOS ones are cast, but the ones I have seen on trucks originally have always been painted black along with the frame, or what hadn't been rusted.

I have them on my truck like the last pic shown. Those are the 69-72 regular hooks. The first pic shows 67-68 hook mounting, and then there are the elusive 72 only extreme bend hooks which I have only had one set of over the years. Trevor

You are welcome, sir. I forgot to add that the truck is a '71 by the title, so obviously it at least had a grille change at some time, so that spid is a '71.

69-72 and the 72s share the same number i believe. 3941733-34
The 60-68 had 2 different part numbers. The early ones were 596369-70 for R and L, and 3663349-50 for R and L.
On a side note, i have seen quite a few 72 extreme bends with no part number on them.
