Re: An S10 with a 67 front clip

I don't normally like this kind of stuff and usually either try to say I don't like it without hurting anyones feelings or not comment at all. However this one is an exception. It was nicely done, has just enough elements to really pay tribute to 67-72 trucks and is not too over the top.I even kind of like the flat paint though I'm not too fond of that particular color.I agree tthat the windows look awfully large but then I get a lot of "When are you gonna put windows in that suburban?" so I may be a bit biased.

Re: An S10 with a 67 front clip

I like it. And I like the ragtop too. A 67-72 dash and classic chrome roof rack would complete it. If they could work some trim in for a two tone paint scheme... hmmmmm

Somehow I get the feeling I wouldn't get to keep it when it's done... Would be fun though. We'd have to take it to the next level even though this guy set the bar pretty high.

A v8 s10 like that would be a blast to drive. Love mine!!! Too bad it does not look like that.

Re: An S10 with a 67 front clip

So it's settled; GM should do a "retro" compact truck---like they did with the current camaro and sell a billion of them.

1) i need as much info as humanly(or superhumanly possible) on this truck.

Re: An S10 with a 67 front clip

Somebody did some quality work. I had my doubts when I clicked the thread, but it's well executed.

I dig the '64-'66 in the background too.

That's what I was gonna say too. But it says 67 clip in the title, I guess they liked the 67 grille but they wanted more of the 68-72 elements in the mix.
