Bed Bolts

What size carraige bolts did they use on a fleetside bed?

1/2 inch diameter, but the length varies between the 70s and 80s years. The 80s had 2 different sizes.

I think I used 3 inch long on my '77.

just to add i got mine at lowes and they work just fine and cheaper than at the catalogue companies

I don't think I've ever ordered a bolt specially just went to the hardware store and compared and bought it.

Mine where 1/2in by 3"
