Nice! I like it a lot for some reason
Is the rear end slightly tubbed (tires look pretty big in the pic)? Last edited by Mondo; 01-24-2010 at 01:59 AM. |

Re: pics of the new ride
Damn, that's beautiful! One day my 68' will look that good..i hope. I'm giving myself 5 months to finish up.
I used to think that buying a turn-key truck would take all the fun out of building one. A year into my build, thousands spent and still not driving has me wishing I found a truck as nice as yours and paid cash! Sure would have saved me a lot of fustration and sleepless nights. Despite the frustations, when I reach a major milestone the personal satisfaction I get out of it makes it all worth it. In the end, I will be proud of my creation and even prouder to say I built it. That bragging right comes at a price!

Re: pics of the new ride
What does having a ton of power have to do with having stock brakes?
600hp 65 MPh is the same as 200HP at 65mph. unless your pedal to the floor light to light and speeding through town it makes no difference how much power you have. |

Re: pics of the new ride
wow thanks guys i bought it from a guy in missouri a few weeks ago, a friend of mine had a 72 that i fell in love with, but i decided i like the 68 fronts better!, anyway yes it has stock drum, drum manual brakes a little scary but im gonna put a hydroboost unit in with some disc brakes, other than that im gonna run it as is, the interior i redone to look factory and the rear is tubbed with 31x16.5 m/t ive built a lotof classic and late model race cars and i thought id buyone preety much done this time so i can enjoy driving it rather than workin on it ill post somemore pics up
