whos dealt with this company?

im planning on using some of my tax refund to upgrade the 292 in my truck has anyone dealt with the stoveboltengineco? they seem to have great prices i can get a offenhauser 2x1brl intake for 235$ TWO carter weber carbs for 170$ for the pair and the linkage for 45$ thats 450$ total. summit wants 180-220$ per one 1brl carb so just for carbs id be hitting 360$min before a intake, 290$ a intake at summitracing. thats 650 at summit w/o linkage. im hoping to use stovebolt as it will save me some money ,im just hoping shipping is reasonable. thank you everyone!

sweet thanks guys i might go though clifford for a cam but they seem to be on the high end for prices so im going to order though langdons for now.thoiugh comp cams has a wide selection of cams but theirs for 250cyl i dont think they have 292 specifc ones they'll work i just have to get an electric fuel pump. is there any other companies i should check out for performance parts? thanks

Those are the two biggies. I don't know of any other major players in 6-cylinder parts. Might want to wander around the stovebolt forums...

thanks everyone is using the exhaust or coolant better for warming the bottom of the intake ive heard both used didnt now what the advantages were thanks

I ran coolant through my intake but for awhile I didn't have it hooked up at all and it ran just fine. I honestly don't know if it made any difference, but it was free to do so I did. I don't know if you'd notice a difference in the type of heat either but there are those that will justify either one.

I did it to my 250, but only because I was driving it in the winter too.
