Re: engine swap
Email sent. They aren't the greatest pics but I don't have as much room as I thought to get in there. I will be pulling the front end down in the next few weeks so I can give you precise measurements if you want. They have been working for 19 years so....

Re: engine swap
There are a lot of ways to do it but if you are keeping the stock I beam front axle probably the simple way is to buy the engine swap crossmembers for both the engine and the transmission from a vendor. Those pretty well make it a set it where you want it and bolt/weld it up thing.
If you cut the crossmember out that normally goes under and holds the bellhousing on the six you should figure out how to brace the frame when you have everything in place as the rails will twist outward over time due to the weight of the cab pushing down on the ends of the brackets for the cab mounts. That is why you see a lot of modified AD trucks that look slightly bent in the middle where the nose meets the cowl. |

Re: engine swap
I'm so tight I squeak when I walk so mine were homemade and the aftermarket world was kind of slim in 1990. They are made out of 2x2 tubing and welded to the frame.
