1970 Blazer 28k original miles
I thought you guys might enjoy some pictures of a 1970 Blazer with just under 28k original miles. It showed up on a local car lot and was gone just as quickly as it appeared. Maybe a board member gave it a new home.... Sharpie

Re: 1970 Blazer 28k original miles
Around $8000 and I'm not sure who got it.
Too much stuff: With A.C., low miles, no rust, near mint body and interior there just wasn't enough hard work left to lure me in! Actually I would have loved to have it but I was remodeling my house at the time and figured I had better buy cabinets instead of a Blazer. Sharpie |

Neat options. 16 inch wheels just look a little different but I like them.

Nice. I've never seen one with white bumpers, utility buckets and AC

Yeah AC, without power brakes or steering. 8 grand was a bargain.

Re: 1970 Blazer 28k original miles
I'm generally skeptical of any "XX,XXX original miles" older vehicle when there are only 5 digits on the odometer, but this one looks like it's probably legit. Heck even if it was 128K on the Blazer, it is still a wonderful survivor and worth the $8K!

Re: 1970 Blazer 28k original miles
No kidding, notice the two CB's on the dash. I think the old guy that owned was a surveyor and had to get into some pretty remote areas of Wyoming. His widow sold it after he was gone. No doubt in my mind the 28k was legit. Sharpie

Re: 1970 Blazer 28k original miles
I've seen the rear seat padded armrests on both ways (more thickly padded side toward the passengers like in this picture and the other way around). Does this picture prove this is the factory correct way?

Re: 1970 Blazer 28k original miles
I've seen both ways as well. I think it was up to the assembler. Many of the rear seats I've had are tagged "Canada". Sharpie
