guys out there with 6.2???

Just got a 2007 Sierra Denali and was wondering if anyone has done any mods on these motors. Any success stories/recommendations/warnings? I am really thinking about a programmer mainly to get a firmer shift, but haven't seen much info as to which one is best for the 6.2. It seems like the 6 speed shifts VERY soft unless in tow/haul mode, then the downshifts are very aggressive.

I have also been considering headers and exhaust, but after inspecting the exhaust, it appears GM did very well with the factory exhaust and I likely wouldn't see much power gain.

Thanks in advance for any input!!!

www.blackbearperformance.com

Programmers suck for the most part (unless it's EFILive or HPTuner)
Get a custom PCM tune

Thanks!
