Angry How do you

I know I'm not the only one who wears glasses so how do you keep them from fogging up when wearing a resperator or dust mask this pisses me off cause i have to stop every two minutes

Re: How do you

I just move my glasses forward until they are resting on the nosepiece of the respirator instead of sitting on my nose. That little bit of forward movement makes a big difference in keeping them from fogging up. Also, I keep an old pair of glasses in the garage for grinding and painting so the good ones don't end up with overspray, etc.

HAHA! love the pic- I know that exact feeling!

I know you can get antifog wipes/sprays at some sporting goods and surplus stores- maybe even the local drugstore.

Re: How do you

well if you dont mind being too grimey and disgusting you can just spit and wipe the saliva around...OR you can just spend a few bucks on a bottle of fog-x and call it a day! =)

Re: How do you

I as having the same problem with my safety glasses when I work in my wood shop. I got a dryer sheet and use it like I was cleaning them and have had no problems with them fogging up since I did it.

Re: How do you

Just rub some shaving cream on the glass then wipe it off. That should take care of the fogging. No joke.

Re: How do you

It's not for glasses, but one trick I've found if you're wearing a full face shield and a respirator, is to tape a piece of terry cloth on your respirator so that it hangs down in front of the exhale port. It keeps your hot breath off the face shield and keeps it from fogging up.
