Starter and Brake fluid issues
ok this is a two part post. ill start off with the starter first, I put a new starter on about a month ago and i went to go start it today and it started to grind just like the old one.... crawled underneath my truck and noticed the gear keeps getting stuck on the starter... added a few more shims and now it seems to be ok... does anyone make a starter that fits my 86 c30 454 with doug thorley long tubes?
now on to the brake fluid. Got in my truck after i fixed the starter turned it on and the brake peddle felt very mushy and goes to the floor. looked to see if theres fluid and the front is completely dry any ideads?

Re: Starter and Brake fluid issues
ok im sorry i misread the post.. check under the truck and see if there is an obvious leak someplace... the rear wheels the lines etc . the front wheels its gotta be going soemwhere and if the back end leaks by the booster sometimes its just a master
