[Pic] This doesn't look stupid? Half truck original paint, half new...

No, that's not black back there, and no it's not real. That's a quicky photochop using Catalina Blue, but burning it on, to make it a tad darker (almost midnight, but not quite)

Looks like alot of trucks and cars I've seen that get hit and replace a fender then later repaint it.

I like dark blue. Thats one of the colors that I thought about doing back when I was painting my truck.

EDIT: A color change is a PITA if the truck is not in pieces.

I drove my truck for quite some time with facory paint on the cab and fenders, primered cab corners, a black primered cowl hood, and a tan primer bed with no tailgate. I wont give you any crap for it looking that way!

NVBowtie,
Yes I am painting the door jambs and all that.
Bagged81.
The truck will be in pieces when it gets painted. I'm going to take the bed apart basically, and go from there. Then the doors will be new (used, but new to me) and so will the fenders.

Good. That is the mistake the I made when I did mine. I only took off the doors and bed. I left the glass in and the fenders on...never again. I will take it completely apart.
